New to Lemonade Tycoon? These five tips will get your business off to a flying start.
1. Match the recipe to the weather
On a hot day, customers want more ice and a little less sugar. On a chilly day, make it sweeter and go easy on the ice. Check the forecast on the result card every evening and adjust before you open.
2. Let the customers tell you the price
Open the Recipe panel and look at the feedback. If lots of people say too expensive, lower the price a little. If nobody complains and everyone is smiling, you're probably leaving money on the table — raise it.
3. Don't run out at the busiest time
Every district has its own rush hours: lunch at the office towers, after school at the school gate, evening kick-off at the stadium. Restock before the rush, not during it. Late in the day, only buy what you need to reach closing — some stock goes off overnight, and the stall refills itself in the morning.
4. Fix the queue before you advertise
If customers are already leaving because the queue is too long, an ad campaign only makes it worse. Upgrade the juicer and register and hire staff first, then promote.
5. Hire managers for shops you can't watch
Shops you aren't looking at slowly get worse, but they still pay full rent. A manager keeps a shop running at almost full speed. If a shop still loses money, sell it from the City panel and get half of your spending back.
